Banana & Pecan Overnight Oats
This recipe literally takes minutes to make. The combination of dates, pecan and banana is ridiculously tasty, and is a great breakfast to fuel you up for the day.
We always have a couple of half portions in the fridge as it is a great pre-workout snack too.
½ cup of rolled oats
¾ Tbsp Chia seeds
1/2 cup semi-skimmed milk, or unsweetened almond or oat milk
½ small banana
2 tsp maple syrup
1 large date chopped
4 pecan nuts halved
1 tsp peanut butter (we like Pip & Nut)
Pinch of sea salt
For an added protein boost add 100g Total Faye Yogurt on serving
- Combine all ingredients into a bowl or small jaw
- Give it a good stir
- Refrigerate overnight or for at least 4 hours
- Eat chilled or warmed
- Boom. Enjoy.
