Forest Bathing and Wellbeing

Forest Bathing was first coined in Japan as far back as the 1940s, and has much in common with yoga and meditation – it simply means to spend time amongst the trees to increase health, happiness and all-round wellness.

Immersion in the great outdoors yields the following benefits:

  1. Managing stress levels by connecting with nature outside of the busy modern world
  2. Balancing mental wellbeing – in a mobile free environment
  3. Aiding sleep after a burst of fresh air
  4. Boosting mood through the absorption of vitamin D
  5. Keeping workouts interesting and varied

Feeling Stressed? Switch your phone off. Get outdoors. #disconnectoreconnect
